Malela Waterfall : Mini Niagara in Bandung

If you like to enjoy waterfall and you have such adventurous spirit, then you can come to Malela Waterfall in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. There’s natural view which exotic and amazing here, but you need a bit hard effort to reach this place.

Malela Waterfall is located in Cicadas Village, West Bandung. It is about 60 Km from center city of Bandung. Because the area of village where the waterfall located is undeveloped, so we should be ready to take a long walk, through such forest and land way with stones. But, don’t worry, coz we will see a beautiful nature along the way, such farm, tea plantation in mountainous area. And there’s some sign to reach the waterfall.

This waterfall will remind us to Niagara waterfall in USA. There’s five way of waterfall which seems wide such Niagara. So, sometimes peoples here called it as Mini Niagara waterfall. But, some others says five ways of waterfall reflect of five pray times a day in Islam. No matter what, but this waterfall is absolutely beautiful. 

You can ride a car from center city of Bandung till the village near the waterfall, before taking walk to the waterfall. From center city of Bandung, you will pass this area : Padalarang Cimahi - Cililin - Gunung Halu - Rongga - Cicadas  Village.
